Cameron wished to meet the President

Cameron is an intelligent and fun loving fourteen-year-old who loves the colors red, white and blue.

He is currently living with a brain tumor and has dreamed of visiting the White House. His fascination started during a school trip that he took to Washington D.C. Cameron’s most heartfelt wish was to travel to the capitol of the United States and meet the President himself!

On a bright February morning, Cameron’s plane took off for Washington D.C. and everyone could sense the excitement in the air. Cameron and his family were taken to the W Hotel – which is the closest neighbor to the White House! Cameron went on a private tour of the Capitol Building where he learned all about the different rooms and features inside. He went on many adventures around the city to historical landmark buildings and museums. On the day of his visit with the President, Cameron dressed in his favorite suit. He could not wait to meet Obama and ask him questions about being the President! Cameron thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the Oval Office, seeing where the President works and even getting to play with the White House dog!

Cameron will always cherish his memories of spending time with the President of the United States. He had the trip of a lifetime and is very grateful to Make-A-Wish for bringing him such joy.
