Five-year-old Finn is an outgoing, energetic boy who is living with hepatoblastoma. He enjoys playing with his brothers and doing karate. When asked what his most heartfelt wish was, he replied “to be a cool kid.”
On the day of his wish, Finn and his family were picked up in a limo and taken to South Coast Plaza where they were greeted by more than one hundred of Finn’s adoring fans. Dressed in sunglasses and a leather jacket, Finn stormed the red carpet, saying hello to all those waiting for him, even running the red carpet twice.
He then made his way to a table where he signed autographs and took pictures with all of his fans. Finn then thanked the crowd and headed into Macy’s where he was greeted by all of the ladies in the cosmetic department. As a girl-crazed five-year old, Finn was overjoyed when the girls took him to get his very own tattoo, followed by some sugary treats.
The rest of Finn’s day was spent getting everything he needed to be the cool kid on the playground. Finn and his family were very grateful to Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire and all of their volunteers to help make this a day to remember.
