The Kids For Wish Kids® program is an opportunity for local kids and teens to help make wishes come true for children living in their own community. The program is beneficial not only to the children who will receive the gift of a wish, but also to the the individuals who learn and grow by participating in community service.
High school students who become involved in the program can gain real-world experience in community relations, teamwork, leadership, public speaking and marketing. Contact us for tools to get started with a Youth Volunteer Project – a one-time fundraising project that can be completed by an individual, a club or group of friends, or with a community youth group. It is a perfect option for students with community service requirements, service-oriented clubs such as Key Clubs, and teenagers who just want to give back!
Interested in more long-term involvement? Make-A-Wish clubs at local high schools are responsible for holding weekly meetings and events throughout the year that raise funds and awareness for Make-A-Wish children and build a strong connection within the community.
To get started in either of these opportunities or to receive an information packet, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 714-573-WISH (9474).
